On Sunday, October 27, 2013, 85 Hair Cuttery salons in the tri-state area of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware held a two hour cut-a-thon event to raise funds for the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.

Hurricane Sandy Cut-a-thon Recap

From 6-8 pm, we offered $10 haircuts and $5 to First Responders with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. We're thrilled to report that the salons raised a total of $5, 645 and Hair Cuttery contributed $2,500 for a grand total of $8,145!   We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful and talented stylists who worked so hard to make this event such a success.  Thank you to all of our caring clients for helping this great cause and for supporting your community in this time of need.

Last week was the one year anniversary of the Hurricane Sandy storm, but even a year after, there are still many people not able to return home and businesses unable to reopen.  However, with the passionate commitment from our stylists and clients in our  communities and the strong spirit of giving alive and well, we ARE stronger than the storm!

IMAG0713Our Commitment
