My Favorite HC Stylists Contest (Metro & New England Winners)
The winner of the “My Favorite Stylist” contest from our Metro region is Sheila Mullins from our Fairfax Station salon (Fairfax Station, VA) and the winner from our New England region is Amber Griswold from our Kennedy Road Marketplace salon (Windsor, CT). METRO REGION WINNER: Sheila Mullins has been a part of the Hair Cuttery family for 31 and a half years. “I’ve wanted to be a hair Stylist for as long as I can remember,” she says. “I would use my mother’s combs and brushes on my Barbies but I didn’t cut their hair because I knew it wouldn’t grow back! I can’t imagine not doing hair.” She considers herself a “Jane-of-all-trades” when it comes to service. “No matter what you want to do with your hair we can figure it out for you,” she says. Her advice to her fellow Stylists is to “treat your Clients just like Family”. Here are a few rave reviews from Sheila’s Clients:

Amber Griswold has been with Hair Cuttery for just under 3 years. She is not the first in her family to work in the Beauty Industry. “I have aunts and uncles that are Stylists and it’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was little”, she says. She knows the value and power of a genuine smile and encourages her fellow Stylists to “Always smile.” Amber’s expertise is color and highlighting. I think that Amber Griswold is the best stylist out there because she takes the time to listen to what you want done. She did my hair for my prom, and also for my wedding.
