Help others with your back to school haircut
As a kid, one of the things that bugged me the most was when back-to-school commercials started at the end of July / beginning of August. I would go back to school after Labor Day so the summer was only half over! I had 30 more days of no homework, going to the pool, and playing with friends. Why would I want to disrupt my focus with a sale?! Summer was my escape from school! It never really hit me that for some kids, school is the escape.
For many children like me, back-to-school means the end of freedom. For others it means something so much more. It means opportunity, a meal, and a safe environment – all things I took for granted. Hair Cuttery sees the possibility in every child and wants to help them get that fresh start for a bright future. How? Share A Haircut.
From Wednesday, August 1 – Wednesday, August 15, 2018, for every child’s haircut (up to 18 years old) purchased, Hair Cuttery will donate a free haircut certificate to a child in need in your community. We work with over 120 organizations across the country to make this happen. But it’s not just us, we can’t do it without you.
So stop in to get your child’s hair cut between August 1st and August 15th! While you’re there, take a picture with our Share-A-Haircut photo frame and post it to Twitter or Instagram with #ShareAHaircut. We’ll add it to our online gallery and maybe even share a few of our favorites!
